Become A Member

"NACAR is a membership organization that acts as a catalyst to serve, empower and promote the Associate/Religious relationship."


NACAR MISSION STATEMENT

NACAR was created by and for its members.  NACAR's entire annual operational budget comes from membership dues.  Currently there are three levels of membership in NACAR:

Congregational Membership

• Congregational membership is the backbone of NACAR; this level is meant to service the needs of Associate & Congregational leaders.  Membership at this level offers comprehensive services and our membership fees are set on a sliding scale depending on the number of members and associates in your congregation.  Renewal letters will be sent to you annually.  Congregational Membership includes:
  • Congregational listing in our printed directory and one printed copy of the directory. 
  • One subscription to our printed newsletter, "The Associate"  (Additional copies can be purchased at a discounted price).
  • Up to five discounted fees to all  NACAR sponsored workshops and our biennial International Conference.
  • Discounted fee for use of NACAR's Consulting Services.
  • Access to NACAR's Members' page on our website.  This page includes such things as current news, directory of Board Members, archives of past issues of "The Associate", Annual reports, etc.  In addition there is a special password protected Congregational Members' page which includes an electronic library, archives of articles, study results and bibliography.  (Currently this site is under construction)
  • Linking of your congregation's website on our link page.
  • Reception of our electronic newsletter, "The Pipeline"
  • Regular mailings which includes, NACAR's Annual Report.
  • Assistance in connecting with intercongregational associate groups throughout Canada and the United States.

Individual Membership

• Individual membership is designed for individual Associates or Religious who wish to promote the mission of NACAR at an affordable price.    Renewal letters are sent out annually.  Individual Membership includes:
  • A listing in our printed directory. 
  • One subscription to our printed newsletter, "The Associate".  (Additional copies can be purchased at a discounted price).
  • One discounted fee to any NACAR sponsored workshop per year or to our biennial International Conference.
  • Access to NACAR's Members' page on our website.  This page includes such things as current news, directory of Board Members, archives of past issues of  "The Associate", Annual reports, etc. 
  • Reception of our electronic Newsletter, "The Pipeline"
  • Regular mailings which includes, NACAR's Annual Report.

Organizational Membership

• Organization membership is designed for other not-for-profit organizations who wish to have a formal relationship with NACAR.  Renewal letters are sent out annually.  This level of membership includes:
  • A listing in and access to our directory. 
  • One subscription to our printed newsletter, "The Associate". (Additional copies at a discounted price).
  • Access to NACAR's Members' page on our website.  This page includes such things as current news, directory of Board Members, archives of past issues of "The Associate", Annual reports, etc.  Linking of your organization's website on our webpage.
  • Reception of our electronic Newsletter, "The' Pipeline"
  • Regular mailings which includes, NACAR's Annual Report.

Make a Donation

NACAR welcomes all donations in order to offset the operational cost of our organization.  Donations are aknowledged in our Annual Report. 

Grant Requests

NACAR is currently looking for grant money for the following projects:

• Update of CARA/NACAR study "Partners in Mission."
• Technology Grants for improvement of this website and new computer hardware.
• Communication Grant in order to expand our newsletter "The Associate" and to fund a stipend for our editor.
